Emerging Adulthood and Early Career
Traditional therapies are geared towards either children or adults, but there is a stage of development in between! Emerging adults, ages 18 into 30s face an impressive to-do list, including completing education, separating from parents, shaping a career path, and pursuing adult relationships. Anxiety and avoidance patterns often (re)emerge at this time. In therapy, we can work on reducing symptom severity while simultaneously building the skills to navigate young adulthood more independently.
For young professionals, therapy offers tools to help successfully launch a career, make thoughtful job and secondary education choices, advocate for yourself, and achieve a greater sense of wellness at work. Support for your mental health can make a meaningful difference as you embark on a stage of major personal growth, new relationships, and important commitments.
